IT HELD THE FASTEST CONSISTENT SPEED AVERAGE OF 104.14MPH, AND TOOK THE FASTEST KILOMETER SPEED AT 154.81MPH. DUE TO JAGUAR’S NEW INVENTION OF DISK BRAKES, THE C-5R WAS OUTBRAKED AND WENT HOME WITH A 3RD PLACE FINISH.
